What is a high pressure water jetter?
A water jetter is a drain cleaning machine that uses a high volume of highly pressurised water to blast blockages inside your drains, clearing away whatever is in it’s way (roots, silt, sand, fat, dirt, waste).
Advantages of using a water jetter
Time: The water jetter will clear blockages in half the time that an electric eel will take.
Distance: The water jetter will clear 60mtrs of pipe with no loss of clearing ability. The electric eel
becomes in-effective at approximately 30mtrs.
Cleaning quality: The water jetter clears the full bore of all pipes. The eel only pokes a hole in the root mass. The electric eel won’t effectively clean grease, silt, stones, sand from blocked drains.
Pipe sizing: The water jetter can clear from 40mm to 300mm pipe. The electric eel is only designed
to clear 90mm and 100mm pipe.
Drain Camera: The water jetter can be used in conjunction with a drain camera. The electric eel
has to be removed from the drain to use drain camera.
Pipe Locator: Water jetter,- drain camera can be used in conjunction with locating equipment to
provide an exact location and depth of problem drains.
Cost: The costs involved in pipe cleaning with a water jetter will always be more cost effective than
the electric eel because of the proper diagnosis and time involved.
The plumber: We just can’t do the complete job without the right equipment. By using the water
jetter with well trained plumbers , they are unrivalled in cleaning drains.
Bring your septic trenches back to life and Save $$$
Rural living in the Noosa region has meant, until recent times, that you live with a septic tank
and grease trap system. The processed liquid from the septic tank disperses through your septic
trenches. Over time, these septic trenches stop dispersing the liquid as they are clogged with
grease, dirt, roots and septic material. The usual answer to this problem is to install a new trench
system. We at Aquaman Plumbing have the ability to bring your trenches back to life by using our
special jet head on our high pressure jet cleaner, and thus avoiding the cost of replacement.
That is not to say that we can achieve the desired result on every occasion.
We’ve been bringing trenches back to life for the last 6 years.
We have found in that time that we have an approximate success
rate of 70-80 percent.
